Old European is my favorite breakfast spot. Serving authentic European fare is only one of the any reasons I love to dine here. The other reason is that the staff is amazing and incredibly attentive. If you've never been in, never fear. The staff will make sure your visit is a good one. They explain what they offer and you can tell that they enjoy their place of work. Now, onto the food. When my husband and I eat here I always, always, always, order their sweet cream filled crepes with peaches. The crepes are always perfectly cooked and the batter is always made from freshly squeezed orange juice that gives them a nice citrus flair. The sweet cream is smooth and has a sweetness to it that isn't overpowering. It is then topped with peaches and, of course, house made whipped cream that is to die for. The ableskievers are absolutely delightful. The originals come with a blackberry brandy syrup that is a must try. We have recently indulged in the stuffed ableskievers. They are stuffed with a wonderful seasoned sausage and havarti cheese. My husband and I love them. If you are looking for something tasty, not too sweet, and dense, you MUST try the Dutch Baby. We order the peach one. It's very dense, thick and has great flavor. It comes with peaches baked on top and a generous amount of whipped cream. The prices are a little high, but is something I don't mind paying as the food is outstanding. They use fresh ingredients and everything is made from scratch.
Really great service. The menu is various European specialties and food is served hot and fresh. We keep coming back because it is so enjoyable. Love the Polish welcome Gose w Dom, Bog w Dom.
Always a great breakfast. Only thing I didn't like was to many people waiting. One section closed, not enough room to sit. At least seat all the people if you have the room, which they had.
I'm addicted to the sausage Aebelskievers. They have fresh squeezed juice and good specialty coffee. Staff is friendly and efficient.
